YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED

What flavour cakes are available?

My most popular flavours are Victoria sponge, chocolate and lemon. My full cake menu can be found here and I can make bespoke flavours on request. Please note not all flavours are suitable for each type of cake.

Do you cater to dietary and lifestyle requirements?

All my cakes are vegetarian, but recipes can be adapted to be made suitable for those needing gluten free, dairy free or for those following a vegan diet as I believe no one should miss out on cake. However, please note my domestic kitchen uses ingredients that are known allergens e.g. wheat and non-vegan ingredients on a daily basis.

Can you help me decide what type of design to choose?

I'd be happy to work with you to create a bespoke design to meet your brief. I can use a variety of sources for inspiration, from an invitation design, to a colour scheme, to your favourite movie. The options are endless and that's why every cake I make is unique to the recipient.

Do you have examples of the type of cakes you make?

To see some of the cakes I've previously made, check out my cake gallery.

What size cakes do you make?

The smallest size cake available is a 4" double height cake. There's no limit on how big a cake can be or what shape it is.

What size cake do I need?

Please refer to the portion guide below as an indication of the size cake you need. If you want your cake to have more impact, but you don't need as many portions then I can also add additional dummy tiers.

  • 4" - wedding: 8-10, party: 5-6

  • 6" - wedding: 12-20, party: 8-12

  • 8" - wedding: 24-35, party: 14-24

  • 10" - wedding: 42-50, party: 26-38

  • 12" - wedding: 64-70, party: 40-58

All portions are based on a double height, round, sponge cake. Wedding portion size (1x1x4"), party portion size (1x2x4").

Do you have a minimum order on cupcakes?

Cupcakes start from a box of 6. After the minimum order has been reached, there's no limit on how many can be ordered.

How much notice do you need?

It's always nice to have as much notice as possible, especially when it comes to wedding cakes. Ideally a minimum of 2 weeks for a celebration cake and 4 weeks for a wedding cake should be adhered to. Of course, I will always try to accommodate your requirements, but please remember that slots get booked up quickly, so this might not always be possible. I also limit how many cakes I complete at a set time to ensure high standards of quality are maintained.

Do you deliver?

Yes. I offer free delivery within 2 miles of HP22 7AA and can deliver to locations further afield for a fee depending on distance.

Can you set up my cake at my location?

Set up is possible and available for a fee. Please note set up is automatically included for all wedding cakes, to ensure your special day goes without a hitch and it's picture perfect ready.
